Are my watch crew doo-lally? wtf is all this number counting going on, i can't get on the conning tower without a torrent of number abuse? corrupt sound perhaps?

also why is everyone so 2d? i mean i know my cremates are shallow but bloody hell some guy turned and dissapeared briefly?

otherwise i'm happy to be finally running SH4, it looks nice on my new rig. not sure about the whole screen glare tho it makes everything seem hazy and out of focus.

ran my first patrol last night. 41, didn't find a sausage. i got a couple of radar contacts which turned out to be friendly but thats about it.

any tips for the new guy? also can anyone point me in the direction of a US sub comparison site? i know my U-Boats inside out but i'm buggered if i know a gato from a porpoise.

Sounds like the anti-piracy protection. Are you using a crack?
I believe this was removed in v1.3, so apply the patch and the problem should be solved.

Patch wont work on cracked versions.

If you have a genuine CD then your going to have to wipe the previous install and re-install then apply the patch.

If you dont... too bad so sad.
