I just opened a photobucket acct. and was able to post a screenie link in another thread. How do I post the actual shot and not just the link to the shot as I see in the humorous picture thread?

Ahoy 5string74
I'm afraid I'm to lazy to type out the whole process.
Especially when Dowly has done a far better job already.

Hello Hakahura.
Thanks for suggestion. I think I did everything except the final part, that is, type before and after the URL. So that little step will put the actual picture in the thread, eh?
Thankey

just copy your link from photo bucket .... when you post a message here you'll see a yellow type picture that looks like a postcard .. mouse over it and it'll say " insert image " ..... click that and you'll get
[img][img] IF you don't have script running ... if you do a small box will pop up to just paste the link in ... if not then you need to paste the image BETWEEN the [img] ... such as
[img] YOUR IMAGE LINK [img]
edeit : make sure there are no spaces

After getting the copy picture box, right click on the mouse.

5string74, Photobucket is wonderfully easy:
Under the picture is a list of options. Just click (not even right-click) on the bottom one - the one that says "IMG Code". You will automatically get a little sign that says "Copied".
Now just come here and right-click in your post, and select "Paste". It will put the IMG tags there for you, and you're done.

Of course. In my 42 years of guitar playing I've teamed with banjo and fiddle players, played everything from bluegrass to metal. I love music, and I love to play. Mostly bass (but I love my 12-string), mostly rock, but still...
