Time to empty my wallet?

I love GWX, but it's just way too slow on my computer and crashes often. I thought 2.66GHz and 1gig ram would be good enough...:cry: Or is it my Radeon 9200? I don't know... It sucks to know too little about computers. Anyone have suggestions as to what the problem might be?

Had a radeon 9250 then

That is your weakest point esp if its 128mb
2.66 processor should be plenty so should 1gb ram

An extra 1Gb of memory might help a lot. Certainly the card might need updating. Try the extra memory first, cheaper than a new card if it turns out to do the trick.

2.8 GHz, 1 gig, radeon 9600. No problems other than load times.

If it's an agp card it's going to be pricey. And makes nosense to get anything less than what you can play SH4 with. And the extra gig of ram goes without saying.

After those upgrades it's time to think about a new rig down the road.


My above advice is if you want or have to wring the most out of what you got for now.

The graphics card is definitely the weak link :yep:
