Hi guys,

Finally!

New PC has arrived so i'm able to play SH4 at last...
My new screen is a 22" wide screen.

But there's one strange thing: the game doesn't stretch to the screen-size...
On the righthand side of the screen there still is about 11 centimeters of my desktop visible.
I've changed the graphic settings of the game (resolution etc.) but it doesn't change the actual size of the game, only resolution changes.
The checkbox ( ... box) isn't checked.

Anyone got an idea?

Second question:

Isn't there a shortcut on the keyboard to go to the attack map?
And why are all the navigation tools available except for the waypoint tool?

Thanks already!
Regards,
fvd

Yes, pls change your font colour.

Have you checked the actual monitor settings (usually accessible via buttons on the monitor itself)?
Have you changed the resolution of your graphics card (i.e. via the graphics card software)?
Have you specified an appropriate resolution (i.e. 1680 x 1050)?

Also see this thread for more resolution info;

Sorry for the stupid question, but have you checked you are running in "full screen" mode? :hmm: Is it possible that you are seeing the game in a window, and not in full screen?

Also, go to "My Documents/SH4/data/cfg" and open the file Main.cfg with notepad, word or wordpad. You should see this:

I have highlighted in RED the line you must check. Yes you can also do it in the game menu, but to be sure do it here. You should be able to change the line to FullScreen=Yes in case it is currently at "FullScreen=No" and save the changes. If you can't, right click on the file and check it is not labelled as "Read only" file.

Hope that helps

I just upgraded to a 24" widescreen myself and get a FULL picture OK.
I use the GF 7600GT with 256 DDR3. The pic is great and I have not even tried
the DVI setup yet....

Press the AUTO button on the monitor's case.

You should switch on digistal scaling for DVI mode and it will work fine. I've got 20" widescreeen and it works.

The real simple answer is you have to tell you video card to strech the picture. There should be a setting in you video cards control panel. If using ati go into digital panel and then under image scaling check scale image to full panel size. I'm sure nVida control panels have similar options

Thanks guy's for all the help!
Problem is solved now.
Think it was a setting of my monitor itself.
