SH3 in stores?

Hello, I have seriously been considering picking up SH3 soon and was wondering, is it still avaible in stores?

I had a look and found some offers in ebay.
I found two Versions, one packed in a normal DVD cover(Ubisoft Exclusive) and another version packed in a normal CD Jewelcase.
Does anybody know if the packing gives a hint whether it ist the 1.0 or 1.4 SFfree Version.
Although I have already bought two DVDs 1.0 but if I know for shure ist is a 1.4 SFfree i wouldnt hesitat to buy a third one.

You can get an original one here at a good price.

Its an original copy not the budget one and comes with a printed manual and the map of the North sea and Atlantic.

You probably would need to patch it with 1.4 update from the Ubisoft website.

I got my copy from Amazon.com.

Funny thing about that. I was sitting around, and my youngest son who was visiting me had a Battlestations: Midway. And in it you can mess with some subs.

It got me remembering how I used to play Silent Service II many years ago (1991?1992?) on my old 386 computer. Used to love that game.

So I did some googling on a good subsim out there, and the most recommended that I found was SH3. So off to Amazon I went. If I'd known about this forum, I would have bought it from here.

Been thinking about trying SH4..........but don't know how well it will run on my system that I have right now.
