Hello All,

I just did a night engagement of that stationary task force during the Norway Invasion. I torp'd the Destroyers first as they have a nasty habit of comming alive and making life in the shallow water difficult.

The problem i had is that as soon as i hit the cans they started unloaded star shell after star shell into the air. I moved the camera over to one of them and every large caliber gun it had was shooting star shells at the same spot constantly. Wasnt long after that i CTD.

Is this a known bug? GWX user here btw.

Could be just that buggy stationary task force. I've attacked that thing a couple of times, only to have the Fiji refloat shortly after having been sunk (and getting the confirmation dialogue and the notation in my log), not getting credit for sinking one of the tribals, even as it's keel grinds endlessly on the bottom, having just sunk tribals respawn outside of the anchorage.

That whole group is just devil-spawn I tells ya' :stare:

Yeah i think i agree with that. There must have been 50+ star shells up there.
Im pretty sure i saw somewhere the GWX crew was fixing that TF...i was just trying to make sure my computer wasnt going bat-s%&t on me.

No the TF is fixed
The stoopid ships firing multiple starshells does end up causing a CTD if you are looking at it

Yes...that reminds me, it has been noticed during testing (can't remember which version).....but it happens very seldom, and the more powerful rigs/vid cards are usually able to manage the temporary load :yep:
