For this mod I had actually bought BF2142.

I downloaded this too, it's a good mod. I've written a 'review' (more of a 'first impressions' writeup, actually) that I'll post here as soon as I've translated it to English. Space combat is awesome - one of my favorite things to do is man the turrets of cap ships and freighters and swat starfighters, or get in a starfighter and blow the cap ships up. Strafing freighters gives me a nice Faith Hope and Charity feeling:up:.

Gathering fleets of cap ships and freighters is awesome, too. When flying together even those puny little Gallofree freighters are hard to blow up with starfighters, and you just have to pull in a Carrack Cruiser or Lancer Frigate for support.

For this mod I had actually bought BF2142.I bought the game just for this mod too. As did many others. And I'm very glad I did.

Looking forward to the second release and more ground vehicles than just a speeder bike, combat speeder and AT-ST, though. Hmmm, wonder if I'll head down to their IRC and ask if they still want me to test upcoming releases for them...
