Submarine academy - any game impact?

Yeah, it's me! Again! ;)

I did the 4 tutorial missions/academy missions in SH4 but unlike SH3 I didn't seem to get any benefits from them.
In SH3 renown was enhanced when entering career-mode if you finished the submarine school lessons.

Is there any game impact I just missed, or are they just a simple tutorial?

You get 1,000 renown bonus for completing it.

In SH4?

I did them all and completed them but I've only the renown to my availability I chose from the drop down menu when creating a new career.

It adds it to your renown AFTER you select how much you want

I chose my renown and got nothing added :damn:

I think I'm going to enter school again after installing TM 1.6
Maybe after adding the mod school data is lost.

No thanks. I could tweak the starting renown if I want more.

I was just wandering if it did anything to the game (like said in the manual).

You dive safe to then watch out for the destroyers they are a pain in the butt

I did the training missions again, but no additional renown is awarded when I start a new campaign. :hmm:
