Funny! I wonder if these employers realize how stupid some people are? I don't mind them not knowing what a CPU is, but I do mind telling people the same thing over and over 10 times over before they get it, when they already should get it because its a common sense problem. Once or twice would be nice. I'm probably have more pacience than most IT people I've seen, but it still bugs me that some people are employed when I think they probably have trouble putting their pants on in the morning!

Anyway - charm school for geeks in on the way:

One of the reasons i dotn work in IT anymore is my lack of patience with people. Most of the time it isnt too bad, you explain and they lsiten and the problem is avoided in the future, but some people...god damn, anyone who hasnt worked in a similar line of work cant even imagine. I hope for teir own sake that they can imagine the horror, THE HORROR.
Though tbh i have never met anyone who fits the stereotypical computer nerd description, but i know lots of people who work in IT.

Down the bottom of that page..

Do you need to get out more?
Are your CDs arranged in order of record label?
Do you make notes in more than one colour?
When you finally got a girlfriend, did you start looking for her mouse?
Do most of your friends’ names include @?
Are your socks embroidered with the day of the week?
Would you be surprised to hear this also comes in a paper-only format?
Are you in a chess club?
Do you alternate between Pizza Hut and Dominos so that you can have a balanced diet?
Is your only item of sportswear bicycle clips?
Did you ask for your money back because Trainspotting was only about drugs and sex?
If you said “yes” 8-10 times :(
If you said “yes” 4-7 times :/
If you said “yes” 1-3 times :)
If you said “yes” no times, it may be of interest for you to know that the signs above are called emoticons and look a bit like faces if you tilt your head sideways
