Man - do you have any idea how much space rock is worth? Lot's per pound. Think a good sized rock that earns you 50K pounds extra spending cash! No kidding!

PS. Think $35 to $50 per gram is possible, so 1 small three lb rock coming in at up to $68,039.55!!!

Do you think it could have been frozen sewage jettisoned from the Spacestation or a passing plane? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::D

Not with boiling water and steam coming out of 20' deep crater ... I know you were just joking, but this is a strange occurence ... another sign of some type.
Isn't Peru kind of low on target earth?

Heat may have caused some chemical reactions in the soil, or the kinetic energy of the impact freed some toxic material hidden deep inside the earth, and this now has intoxicated the area. I do not believe in alien poison and space virusses in this story.
Andromeda strian was a nice movie in its time, the reading I found to be even better. At least those 20+ years ago.

The Zombie virus is here! Time to buy a carbine and a house on stilts! :88)
As long as Tripod machines don't start appearing around the pit I think we might be alright.
Personally though I'm thinking early Cold War satellite. Don't some of those sats have small nuke reactors in them?

Does garlic help? I always keep a stock in the kitchen and it's been ages since I last saw a vampire.

No, garlic's only good for seasoning your flesh for them to eat. :nope:
