From a distance the water away from the Uboat looks like it has alot of black dots all over it until you approach it, anyone experience this?
Thanks.

Is there any way to fix it?
Yes, I have this problem too. It happens when I view my sub (or other ships) from a certain distance. When I get closer, or move further away, the dots dissappear. I have no idea what might be causing this.
I am using a rather low-end video card, NVidia FX5200. What card do you have?
For what it is worth, I don't play too many games, but apart from being a bit slow, this card hasn't given me problems before.
It doesn't affect gameplay, but it does take away some of the enjoyment when taking screenshots or using the external view.
If anyone has any ideas as to how to fix this, I'd be grateful.

Try setting your AA + AF to max from the GFX Console.
AA = Jaggies
AF = Quality at distance.
A screenshot would help too.;)

Thanks danlisa,
That does fix it for me, indeed! :up:
However, setting both anti-aliasing and the AF thingy (stop me if I'm getting too technical ;)) to the max value, slows my game down unbearably and causes heavy swapping to disk. Setting both to about 50% of their max values lessens the problem a lot and still keeps the game playable. My PC is getting slightly old, so it's a trade off between quality and speed.
But for people with newer systems, they should benefit a lot from this.
Now, back to the hunt! Where's that convoy... ? :ping:
