GWX mod... crew talking in ENGLISH?!

sorry about pestering you with what you will probably regard as a very n00bish question, but i couldn't seem to find help anywhere else, not even at the ubisoft forum:

i was told to give SH3 another try using that ominous GWX mod in v1.03. well, i did - and the whole game's in english now! i don't want to command a german sub with english control panels and english-speaking crew. surely there must be an authentic, german edition of GWX somehere - did i just download the wrong file?

Errr, just apply the language/text options in the main SH3 Options from the main menu.;)

GWX was made to be played with German Voices.that's what i was thinking, so i was rather puzzled when they were shouting at me with their "Ahead flank!" and all that. :p
wonder why they wouldn't set german as default though..

The default setting is English voices/text as set by SH31.4b. GWX could set this as the default as part of the installation process but during it's creation it was decided to keep everything as close as possible to the original setup so that new players would not feel out of their depth.

I can't tell you the amount of times I have started a new career with a new installation only to find my German Crew are shouting at me with American accents.:damn: Sure enough, exit patrol, scrap career & start again.:rotfl:
