I like animals, I find certain ones very tasty and by personal prejuidice think others are cool while I dislike others (like pigeons and flies but that's neither here nor there). I support animal testing for medicine if necessary.

Seriously though, I don't like this type of stuff. I don't like seeing animals being intentionally abused like that.

It is like the Michael Vick thing with his dogs. You don't mistreat animals. Whoopie Goldberg can sit there and make all the cultural references and excuses for that type of behavior when in a normal circumstance her liberal thinking would have wanted the death penalty for the guy abusing his pets. Beating, strangling, electrocuting, and drowning dogs is not correct in any culture. I don't believe in multiculturalism, sometimes your culture is just plain wrong.

Call me sadistic, but I had to crack a smile when I read about the abusive trainer getting killed.

As abuse to animals in circuses rises, so does the frequency at which they begin to fight back. In 1994, Tyke, an African elephant, killed her trainer and injured 13 others before police shot her to death.

Shame about the eventual conclusion, though.
