Hi guys, Iv just heard that the multiplayer Beta of Crysis is out!!! Hopefully that will mean that there will be an official demo soon. I really cant wait to try it.:rock: Just thought I'd let everyone know. If you did'nt know already.

Crysis Demo is coming out on 25th Sept

They only released a limited number of them early. If you didn't get it within about 2 hours, you had no chance of getting it.

There is a new demo coming out the end of this month though that will be more widespread.

By the way, if you have DX9 only, Crysis bunched you in with all the underpowered vid card users so you won't get destructable landscapes since that wouldn't display well on a 9800 Pro or 6600 GT - nice huh? ANyway, if you have a DX10 capable board, then they assume you have an x2900 XT or 8800 GTS or better, so you get destructable landscapes in MP. DX10 board owners will be able to play on DX9 servers, but DX9 board owners will not be able to play on DX10 servers. Nice huh? How the lump you in with all the pathetics. Its not like my x1900 XTX won't be able to show a tree falling over without hiccup, but since I am DX9, they basically said I'm screwed because it isn't a bad ass x2900 XT or something. My x1900 XTX isn't really all that slower then the x2900 either, so I don't get their mindset.

Not sure I'm liking this mentallity from the Crysis people. Then again, I will probably be able to turn on destructable landscapes in single player mode still.
