RIP Anita Roddick

Just heard that Anita Roddick has died as a result of complications following a long battle with hepatitis, contracted from a transfusion many years ago when she had one of her kids.

AR was a really nice person, I knew her personally, through my wife having business dealings with her. Despite all the gongs and plaudits AR was awarded from the Govt. she was totally unpretentious and a really good laugh, I will miss her a lot.

RIP.

I admired her spirit and busness sense. It was nice to see a CEO who cared about her product, customers, staff and producers. My wife like's the shop (even if it is a little expenisve!:roll:) and was shocked when she heard the news.:cry:
