Port Raiding

Hello all, I am patrolling around Iwo Jima for enemy merchants in late June of 44 before that up around Hokkaido and it occurred to me that it seems enemy merchants are running scarce. Patrol after patrol no merchants but occasionally a convoy which I aggressively try to take out to meet my quota for COMSUB or do some pirating and raiding a couple of ports during the twilight. Has any one seem to notice this or is it just me. Also could some one tell me a little about the Trigger maru mod. What is that all about?

The best merchant hunting ground I've found late in the war is in a strait between Honshu and Hokkaido (I think that's correct). It's a split between 2 big islands and there are tons of convoys and a few single merchants and unescorted small (2 ships usually) convoys that run through there.

Ya I usually hit there if I am around there but to me it seems merchant ships are very low for this timelime during the war. I don't know

I go into japanese port to find merchants. To get my tonnage.

Thanks for the info sqk7744, I have already downloaded it but I think I am going to wait till the end of the war to see what happens or I get blow to davey jones locker first. I have some the mods listed already but I will check TM out at the end.

* Just FYI~ with a major mod, it's best to install before beginning a new Career or in Port between patrols.
