Obscure places to find enemy ships

If I go to the Indian Ocean, can I find enemy merchant shipping? Like around Burma and whatnot? Also, if I were to sail over to Europe for whatever reason, can I encounter other Axis shipping to sink? Are warships in other (German, Italian) harbors?

Finding enemy ships in the Indian Ocean isn't too obscure at all, the Japanes invaded Burma and almost conquered India. Japanes warships even raided Ceylon and sank British merchants and I think even a carrier.

True, but you won;t find any there in stock SH4. My campaign has a little traffic as far as Rangoon, but I haven't added more than that largely because that area was reserved for british subs.
