Hi,

Any NHL fans over here?
Can somebody tell me are there any broadcasts (LIVEness not required) over internet of regular seasons matches? Unfortunately in Poland hockey is not as much popular as football (soccer for US residents ;) ) so literally there is no place to see NHL (excluding play-offs).

Hi Kpt Lothar,

I believe NHL.com has live radio broadcasts, just follow the links to the individual Team Sites. Not sure about video :hmm:

Yeah, I know the Leafs have not won since color TV was invented, but you have to stick with your team.

But i have a confession to make, i have changed the team im supporting.
I started as a Minnesota North Star fan as a kid and followed them to Dallas.
Minnesota just has more fans that understand and love hockey than Texas..
I have nothing against Dallas Stars but it feels more right to be a fan of Minnesota Wild.:smug: Does this make me a traitor? :hmm:

Dont blame yourself too much, ive chagned mine [n] times. If i would live in torono then i would be fan of leafs, in atlanta - trashers etc. I dont live in us, in canada either so i have variety of choices. This year its done - thats senators that attracted my attention most with their appeal and stanleys cup final.

Hi,Can somebody tell me are there any broadcasts

ready and prepared for a new incoming season. I subscribed to NASN (http://www.nasn.com).NASN on what they broadcast:
"· will have coverage of up to 175 games a season, that’s 7 live or as-live games a week.
· Live double headers each and every Saturday from the legendary Canadian Sports night show, Hockey Night in Canada.
· Live and exclusive coverage from the NHL Playoffs and Stanley Cup Finals.
"

Thats channel i'd like to watch most.

Sounds like you have a very good set up Kpt Lothar, I like most Canadian Hockey Fans, have grown up with Hockey Night in Canada, they put on a great show.

As with you I am looking forward to the upcoming NHL Season, lets keep this thread going.

Ever since the strike a few years ago, I find it hard to enjoy hockey anymore. Nevertheless, my team is the Detroit Red Wings. For me, there's no other team. :)

Yeah, the money aspect in all sports turns me off, but I still find myself tuning in.

Detroit: Hockeytown , Yzerman, Howe, just a few of the greats there

Another year, another delightfully disappointing Leafs effort.

Know what Vancouver has that the Leafs don't? They call it a goalie.

That and we better pray that Bieksa starts to actually look like the defenseman of last season. But he might still be hurting with that bad ankle.
