I was wondering, I plan to keep my Tambor Boat to the end of the war and I was wondering if the boat makes it that far does the Conning Tower change to the late war look or does the boat remain in its early war apperance?

In what year did you start? You will most certain be released of command before the end of the war* (+/-6 patrols)if you started too early in the war.

*like real US-subcommanders where.

I started at the start of the war with a S-Class then moved to a Porpouis Class then I got a Gar Class. I turned down a Gato Class Boat. Man i was wishing to Continue to the end of the war.
I have had about 5 patrols in the USS Grenadier alone. Three Patrols in the S-36. And I cant remember what the name of the Porpois class was But I had like Two Patrols in it. I am at the start of 1943 Yep I go home after I use all my torpedos and since I find alot of Targets I go thru them. I have 115K tons Sunk including one Large Fleet Carrier which I just sunk on this patrol. I knocked out his Engines with the first Fish. the next three missed and I Hit him with two more which he had just got his Boilers relit and started moving at one kt. I knocked his boilers out again. Next time I got to Parascope Level I put another two Fish into him and he went to the bottom fast. 5 Hits 3 misses but one that missed struck the oiler that was traveling with them and lit him on fire. I made my excape To the north of them after a round of near hits by DC's But they were not close enuf to do dammage. I was down at 300 ft so they couldnt hit or find me. This all took place south of Luzon about 150 miles. Early Jan 1943

BTW I turned down two Boat upgrades. They wanted to transfer me to Pearl and I want to continue with the Asiatic fleet. Maby thats why they have left me on patrol for so long. I will fight to stay with my boat and my men.
