hi folks
i reinstalled the game+1.3 patch+trigger maru mod and noticed that at nav map my sub showed as a circle instead of a circle and its tail showing the direction
any help about it?

From the readme in the Support directory:

4.) How do i get back "tails" and sensor information on the navigation map?
Disable Tmaru, and delete the following two files:
\Data\Menu\gui\ContLine.dds
\Data\Menu\gui\DashLine.dds



5.) How do i get back the ship sillouttes on the contact map?
Go to the /data/sea directory in TMaru. There you will find about 97 subdirectories, one for each ship in the game. Located in each one of these subdirectories is a DDS file. This file will be named whatever the ships name is _shp.dds (*_ship.dds). Delete each of these files from all subdiretories.

If you zoom into the circle around your sub you will see it is a kick ass template ranging out to 1500 yards with bearing information! It allows you to make instant range calculations for torpedo solutions.

All the other ships will be an ink blob. It is simple to get their heading by drawing a line through the blob and correcting it as you time compress at 8x till the blob is travelling straight down the line. Ducamus also includes directions to change it back to the vanilla version but you have to edit like 99 files. :rotfl:

I deleted all the dds files, but I'm still not getting any blobs on the nav map or attack map. No sonar lines either.

I disabled the mod (and GFX pack and patch) with the mod manager and deleted all the *_ship.dds from the SH4/Mods/TMaru/Data... folders. Is this right?

You will not get the blobs,when you delete the .dds files.you will get the ship shape.tga,on + :yep: zoomed maps.
