Anyone ever found this unique and legendary warship in GWX or even sank it? I had two careers in the med and never came across this pride of greece.

To figure out where to find her, you'll need to read the GWX manual ;) :

"The Armored Cruiser RHS Georgios Averof in GWX
The Georgios Averof will conduct operations consistent with her historical deployments. "

Hmm, the problem is that the ship was based in Bombay, doing convoy escort duty from august 1941 to october 1944
And a med career goes from.... October 1941 to August 1944.
So if GWX did model this accurately theres no chance i'm going to see her, unless it comes in a convoy through the med.

Or if I slip through gibraltar in Oct. 1944 and raid Port Said...:o

This ship is like an iceberg to me: I know they are both out there but i just can't find them. :-?

If you're really fast you can catch it in April-May 1941 during the evacuation of Greece;) Otherwise you'll need to search hard, but I can tell you the final result is worthy of all the efforts :yep: :arrgh!:

To explain my obsession with this ship:
It's the only warship i've ever saw in real life. Although that was 8 years ago i still find it great that she was included in GWX.

I'll guess i'm going on a hunt in my next career. My current boat isn't really suited for raiding ports or passing gibraltar. (see sig) :D

This pic has been taken at Port Said, no doubt. That is one CA location, another is Port of Alexandria. Nice photo .....:up:

I know the feeling mate. Old George is a Classic. If I remember correctly it's the only Armoured Cruiser of the Dreadnaught period still in operational condition. Next time I'm in Athens I will pop by the harbour to have a closer look ;) :up:

@Mel :up:

Even when concealed behind a wall, there's no mistaking her :nope:
