Shore Leave sticky ?

Do you think having a sticky thread called "Shore Leave" would be a must have ? the reason I ask is my job and I dare say many others take them away from time to time and many members ask where are they ? anybody seen/heard from ..... ? etc; this I think would also stop your PM from getting cluttered, members would wait till you get back ?........ just a thought ? :hmm:

EXAMPLE:

LEAVE APPLICATION
NAME: Venatore.
SHORE LEAVE DATES: 7-9 Sep 07.
REASON: Deploying on Army exercise.

Two days what a lucky guy.........Not putting you down, but here in the U.S., a reserve does two weeks a year, besides his regular reserve days. Just kind of sounded like it was too short to get anything done......no offense intended......I salute your service to your country.............:up::up::up:

FYI Australian Army Reserve requirements are (generally):
- one night a week;
- one weekend a month;
- two full weeks a year;
- extra time for courses (such as promotion etc).

Essentially Army (it's different for RAAF and RAN) Reservists can work between 14 and 100 days a year, depending on main employer flexibility (I know unemployed reservists that are essentially full time reservists).

I'm not a reserve. I joined the Regular Army in 1988. I'm posted to a reserve unit till December then I'm back to my bread and butter INFANTRY ! and I will be getting my soul back three fold.:rock:
