Mysterious SUB Damage

Yesterday evening I was sailing in the south China Sea and came across a mediam sized convoy escorted by 3 destroyers. Convoy was doing about 8 knots so I cruised in 1/3 speed Silent running, all hands at battle stations. under the thermo layer. Worked great, I gave the destroyers the slip and banged about 4 ships and also snapped off an aft shot that crippled a destroyer. Best Game so far for me, when ALL at Friggen Once Im getting messeges about numerous damages to my sub???? IM not being depth charged or shot at, Im at periscope depth, nobody around me CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT JUST HAPPENED???? Ship sunk done, I was pissed. ANY help or theorys would be great. THANKS GUYS.

Were you damaged previously? It is possible the pressure hull gave out suddenly, from previous damage.

Yep, I had it once. I do not know what happened. I never had it happen after this one time. Exactly like you described. Sink a few cargos, DD drops a few depth charges a few 100 yards off and then blam....all goes to hell.

Dont worry Retzer, I think it's a bug, as I've had that done to me too (previous time, inserted agent (NO contact with enemy so NO damage) reversed out of area, went to PD, all of a sudden im sitting on the bottom 530ft down.. not right..

THANKS guys glad Im not alone, Maybe they will fix this soon, Nothing like a juicy looking convoy with 3 escorts and a stealthy approach with freighters on fire and a bug like this to scare me, wondering if its gonna happen again.:arrgh!:

There are a few features remaining that frustrate me in the game. One is the torp line gone after crossing IDL. Another is the lack of damage display on items pertaining to ship hull, and last the mysterious near-fatal increase of crew fatigue when a saved game is restored. I have seen the sub sustain near fatal damage with no warning from the crew.
