April 1940, GWX 90% realism. I am commanding U-36; enroute to my patrol are in BE34. I receive a radio report of an enemy task force headed north.

I quickly dash to get myself in position, and within an hour or so, we get a firm hydrophone contact. I dive to 60m, and as the lead escort passes, I quickly move to periscope, execute a hard left turn, and spot my target... an Illustrious Class Carrier. First one I've ever seen! I fire a three tube salvo, and dive like mad. We hope for the best.
Two explosions are heard, and we manage to slip away. An hour later, my hydrophones pick up some very slow moving prop's to the north. We beat north, and what do I see, but my carrier, heavily damaged and limping north.

The coup de grace.

Sinking such a beautiful ship almost makes me sad. Not bad for my first carrier....
We are pleased.
