Quiet a bit amazing, considering that this place for Jews once was the lion's den. Would have anyone imagined that possible, short after WWII?

They have big internal conflicts of interest and orientation between the old community members, and the many Russian Jews who arrived in recent years. But that is their business.

Great news, I have been reading recently about the many military contributions of the Jewish people in service of the various German states, including Prussia before and after unification. Including WWI.

WWII saw Jews or part Jews serving as well, but the circumstances were rather different.
