My Tonnage!!

So I just noticed that all of the ships that I have downed except for the very last one are gone. They have just been erased from my logbook the markers are gone off the map and im am POed. Is this a known bug?

Well i haven't had that happen to me but it sounds like a bug.

Bugs make me a sad panda. The first ship I sunk is still there. Hmm

Sunk another. Didnt get the shes going down message and I didnt get credit for that either. It did show up on the map as sun though. Grrr. Not enjoying this at all.

Sounds like you have installed something prior to noticing the problem. Try going back to a save point that was working :hmm:

Havent made any changes to the game lately. In fact im only on my 3rd patrol. Clean install +GWX. I dont recall if I patched GWX or not. The only thing that I noticed that set the disappearing ships apart from the one ship that stayed in my log was that the ones that disappeared wereall sunk with the deck cannon in roughly the same area. The ship that didnt disappear off my log was sunk with a torp. Sunk 2 more with torps and the are both still there for the moment. Hope they dont disappear as well.

You might try a patch to see if that fixes it.

I wonder if you haven't met the Zombie ships.
These are ships you have previously sunk. They have respawned and you sank them too close to the spawning point. You must move further away before the game recognizes them as not previously sunk ships.

Zombi ships you say? I read a post (perhaps by you) earlier about such things. I was north west of ireland just a tad. Just out of the shallows in into deep water. Perhaps this is a spawn point for those damn small merchants.

Maybe its a Install Problem and not a bug. Sorry i thought it was a bug.
