Taliban finally promised to release the hostages in exchange of the termination on missionaries spreading Christianity in Afghanistan as well as the withdrawal of troops in Afghanistan. :p
Some people, especially the relatives of the kidnapped, agreed with this, claiming that human life in much more important than others. It is a grace to see the remaining hostages coming back to their home country safety, isn't it? (except the two who were executed by Taliban, I feel very sorry to both of them)
Others disagreed (I don't think George Bush will be happy about this :nope: ), arguing that this act is equivalent to a surrender to the "rebels and terrorists", and these "insurgents" may kidnap more in order to add pressure to the White House, forcing them to withdraw troops, or give them other benefits, which may eventually cripple Bush and his party. (You know, Bush's prestige... :dead: , and his new competitors)
I've already finished my naggy introduction. It's high time for YOU to express you points of view towards the release. Do you AGREE, or NOT? Why?
