gameplay settings

Settings do not remain, they change when mission is started. I change the settings to my liking but when I begin the mission, the settings have changed. When I exit from the mission and enter the gameplay settings menue, I see that they have all changed on me!!

Anyone have any input on this?

When your in yer office, click on the clock to your left, set game settings there.:arrgh!:

If you were to read the wonderful manual that came with the........oh never mind. It is just a coaster for your drink as you play. As noted, in the office before you set out on the left is a radio on the shelf. Make your changes here and it will save them. You can change them again next time you are in port if you want to.

I think they were trying to be helpful, or clever. The settings you select from the menu apply to War Patrols and missions accessed from that menu, but they are not entirely transferred to a career. That's what the radio on the shelf is for - selecting, or confirming career-based settings.
