making movies

how do you make movies in SH4? ive never treid it before and would like to know how. thanks in advance!

I myself use fraps although you can only record for 30 seconds with the free version. The last time i checked though it was fairly cheap for lifetime access. You can also try gamecam although the free version has no sound.

so then how do record in-game then?

I use fraps to record, its a neat program. If you decide to use it remember to check "half size" option.

When you are done recording you import the insanely large avi-files to an editing program like Windows Movie Maker (comes with XP, I use Ulead 10), and fiddle around with it until you are happy. When you are done you save the project in the size(s) of your liking, and a Youtube-video should be from 10 to 50MB. They do allow up to 100MB, but videos of that size will be grainy when Youtube reencode them.

PS: A system that barely runs the game will have serious fps-issues when recording with fraps, since the recording takes alot of horsepower from your computer.

ok my system runs SH4 prety well. not single crash since i installed bout 3 weeks ago. its a brand new Dell Insprion 1721 laptop
