This patrol is getting better and better... it's just this little thing that's stopping it being the best ever.

I've come across a task force with 2 Ise battle ship in it (still the same mission as the other post about the invasion force to Borneo) anyway.. I've set my eye on the lead battle ships and hit her with my last 4 bow torpedoes at about 800ydr on the starboard side. (no dud's this time)

She's dead in the water and list's to about 40 degree's but that's about all she's willing to give... :shifty:
Trouble is I have 2 torpedoes left and after trying different assaults (with save-games) I can't seem to get her to go all the way. No matter if I hit her on the port side (that just sits her right back up) or the starboard side, she's not going to budge... (Not even after a whole day of waiting). :nope:


Question to you:
Where the hell should I hit her with my last two torp's so she goes cause she's starting to look like the flying Dutchman.

If there's nothing else around surface on the opposite side of the list vary close an hammer her with ur deck gun. Don't think her guns can fire that low.....

Try hitting her under the gun turrets it should set off all the ammuntion and sink.

I put a round in the hind end, and then fired port side ( opposite side then original attack at very bow, just infront of the anchor. It sunk nose first after about 5 minutes on 32x speed.

Jokes aside I run NSM and find many situations where a ship won't sink despite being obviously a goner. I have faith in the newly reworked version coming out?

Yea there seems to be soemthign wrong with NSM... a Mogami eating an even spread of 3 along the starboard side and two more torps on the port side and still staying afloat...

Finally got her... :smug:
Took me 8 restarts (got creamed a few of those times) with different torp depth, spread angles and so on to put her to rest.
set at 800yrds
2torps at 9f
2torps at 10f
spread angle from 2 to 0

:oops: Yes I cheated with this career.
As the Ise didn't sink after 36hr at the first go (which in my opinion should have happend) I cheated death on this one.
