I found a YouTube alternative - Veoh!

I've tried many sites lately (Revver, is the one I wanted to use, but they are too restrictive on content because of their revenue stream, and I even tried Divx, but its alpha software screwed up Vista, so I can't use it, and have Xvid installed at the same time) to find one that offers decent resolution and playback, but with the net being what it is, you have to trade something to get something else - so I present Veoh!

Now it has a larger playback window that YouTube, and also sprts better audio and clearer video, but that comes at a price - high action screens look worse than YouTube. But here is the major advantage - you can download the source video in its original format - Xvid, MPEG, or whatever! That is worth its weight in gold right there! Not only that, there is no restriction on file size or resolution! Perfect!

So you can look at the screen on site as a preview to the full resolution video underneath. If you like what you see in the video preview window, download the whole clip in all its glory! This is exactly what I was looking for in a video hosting site.

Ive been using Veoh for awhile now, only thing i found annoying is the slow downloading compared to using media player or Divx 6. Plus turn off the Veoh P2P sharing option.

I didn't see an option to turn off the P2P sharing? Anyway, Divx doesn't like being instlled with Xvid, otherwise I'd try that.
