Radar and Flak Gun issues...

I installed the latest patch, and I STILL can't turn on the Radar. WTF. Also, the flak gun still clips through the deck when I aim it at an angle high enough to hit anything. WTF.

What year is it in your game?

If you would take the time to use the SEARCH feature, you would know why you "can't the radar on."

Hint: it's an air-search-only radar set.

It's 1941. That still doesn't explain why my flak gun's view clips through the deck, making it useless. Also, I have flicked EVERY BUTTON on the radar, even when I KNOW aircraft are around, but the screen just still stays blank.

1941.. Radars arn't installed at that moment. Come back in 1943 or 1944 if you want one. Or build a time machine to travel to the future to shorten your agony. I know that being patient is hard

I also suffer from the flak gun issue, leading to me just letting my crew handle the AA combat as I can't see what I am aiming at anyway. As for the radars, I can turn on the oscilloscope radar, but it doesn't show any bumps in the line like it's supposed to. I have seen screenshots of it working as it should, but mine won't budge even when there are aircraft or naval units in the viscinity. It supposedly work though, as my radar operator shouts out contact information to me.

There is no scope for the air search radar. All there was is a little light in the control room that lights up when an airplane is detected. The scopes you see are for the sea search radars. As per the problem with the AA gun clipping you'll have to wait until the bath tubs get removed around late '42 - '43

or to put it another way, its an unresolved graphics bug. fortunately, as noted above, when the tower gets clipped later in the war, it is fixed.
