My fps are usually around 60 or above, have had them up to 160/190.
My question is when I use the navigation map and accelerate time the fps drops from 60 to 5 fps for about 10 to 30 seconds.
This only happens once or twice during my missions and only when I'm in the navigation map scene. Is there a way to stop this, If I adjust my AA or AF on my video card will this help, I noticed in other forum topics that some members set their AA/AF to 2X or 4X on their video card to produce better game play, will this help if how do I do this?

My computer Specs:
CPU: AMD 64x2 5200+
MOBO: Asus mv2
RAM: 3 gig ddr2 6700
VIDEO: GeForce 7600GT 256mb gddr3
HDD: 250gig SataII
Op SYSTEM: Window vista home premium 32bit

I believe the issue is the computer is attempting to generate dynamic actions of ships appearing and running their course ,etc. as fast as it can as you are time compressed. It is a lot for the computer to handle so it slows down.

yea when you're in the nav map nothing is coming off your 3D rendering. Its all from memory. Get some more memory if you want it to run faster. But 3 gigs should be enough.

I'm more interested in how you found out you got 190 FPS when the game seems to max at 90

PS: And a 64 bit windows for a 64 bit processor wouldn't hurt.

I pressed ctrl + f8 and the fps was flashing between 160/190 but was hard to read properly, normally it read 60/80 make. windows vista 64bit out of my price range.

I get 120 in map mode so it's possible...

My FPS drops to 30 or so when at CT 1536.. it drops even lower (5FPS) when a convoy is neer me at CT 1536... dead give away... No contact reports by SUBCOM.. sort of a cheat that is :-?
