Patch Problems

Hey there, after finally upgrading from SH2 to SH 3, I'm having some problems installing the V1.04 patch.

When I try it comes ups saying something about 'missionengine.ddl' being unknown and fails.

I searched the forum and there was a few threads mentioned this but I've tried all that was reccomended (driver updates, uninstall's then deleting all files and cleaning registry/defraging) and none of it has worked.

Obviously not being able to update isn;t the absolute end of the world, but it's a bit of a pain.

It has also on a few occasions just crashed mid way through a game if thats likely to be part of the cause/effect too.

Is your copy of SH3 new? Most newly purchased versions of SH3 are already patched to 1.4b.

You can check by starting SH3 and checking in the bottom right of the Main Menu.

It is and it is, why aren't all my problems that easily solved.
