What would you recommend? I use GWX's standard one with the black spot. That is pretty lame though. I saw one in Steed's video where there are gaping holes and the rudder is completly gone. Anyway any good ones i should try?

I absolutely love Alex's damage texture: it's simple yet beautiful

My favourite is AnzacMick's damage textures.

Torpedo damage Final version by Ocean Blue

Leaves big holes, very nice. Much better than the black smudge mark

Thats the one I use - turns ships into swiss cheese when using your deck gun:D

It just doesn't get better than this mod ! Huge gaping holes in the sides of ships ! Swiss cheese looking hulls from the deck gun ! Metal bits sticking out everywhere !!
I wouldn't leave port without this one.

I myself have downloaded but have no clue as how to implement it into the game? Any help from current users?

Use jonesoft Generic mod enabler which comes with GWX.

I also recommend the 16k Atmosphere mod that comes with GWX as well.

Unpack the file to: C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\GWXv103\MODS folder then enable with JSGME

Gee thanks! :-? :p

We use that "lame" one becuase the same graphics are used for both torpedo and depth charge damage... though each would appear very different in real life.

We had to use one that would fit all occasions as best we could.

:p :p :p

oh by no means am i dissing you. You have proven yourselves ten fold with every other feature in the game. I didnt mean to offend (dont know if your being sarcastic).

Sarcasm is not a trait displayed by anyone over at GWX...but at times the response can be succinct and to the point :arrgh!:

Well, once again i read the JSMG instructions but i cant unzipthe file or make it show up when i run JSMG. What i did was i saved the file to the mods folder in SH3. It shows up there with a zipper. What do i do from here? Please help anyone?

Jimbuna

Download JSGME.....install it into your SH3 programme folder...double click on it (if necessary) to create a 'MODS' folder in the SH3 programme folder...unpack the final damage mod direct to the MODS folder then enable with JSGME :arrgh!:
