Hi there

When I hit a ship and she is slowly flooding, do I have to hang round to wait until she sinks to get the credit or can I leave the area and still get credit for the sinking ?

You will still get credit for the kill if you are within visual or hydrophone range. Basically just stay around 20-30Km from the ship and you should be OK

If the sea conditions are rough and you have a spare eel, it's often wise to finish the job or the weather may steal your renown due to the fact that damage from flooding/weather is treated by the game as the same :arrgh!:

Or if you're close to Norway, or in the Med, some of Goering's boys may come and finish it off, stealing the credit for your kill!
