Cool.

I was watching a show about the U-boat war (part of the Battlefront series) on the NatGeo channel a week or so ago. The entire 30 minutes of footage was in colour (and in good quality too). Awesome to watch. It was followed by an even better episode on Commerce Raiders (again all colour) which focussed on the Pinguin's exploits. Full colour footage of her in the Antarctic, including "on-board" footage of the Norwegian Whaling fleet she captured in 1941.

In a way, it was a shame to see the footage of HMS Cornwall sinking her.

I've watched these too. I think the original footage was black and white, but they have redone them, probably using computers, in colour.
