Honshu - I swear, If I have to make another patrol....

What gives? I cannot get any missions outside the coast of friggin Japan....

If so, you may want to try the "repeat patrol fix" located in Tmaru's support directory.

I am really sitting on the fence with that mod. On one hand, i question if its neccessary, on the otherhand, i question if i should just make it Tmarus default installation.

I imagine they wouldn't send just any skipper to patrol off the coast of Japan. Perhaps they just think you're really good? :D

Only once did I get stuck in the ugly cyclical Honshu patrol. Three times to be exact. My last time out I spotted a convoy and I had no torps left. I got the message on a great find and come on home when ready. That was it. Have you spotted a convoy and reported in?

I stopped playing SH4 MONTHS ago due to this. On three seperate careers, out of seperate bases, using vanilla SH4 with v 1.2 I had this happen....

finally checked back here and saw that 1.3 is finally here.... maybe will try career 4...

Could be. I mean, technically speaking the IDL bug still exists. How about your patrol log. I know for a pearl boat, everythign is stamped the same date. For instance if you sunk a ship for every day of the week, they'd all be reported as being sunk on the same date.

I have just been sent to Honshu for the second time and I completed that. Then after I got there they sent me orders to sink the shipping in the area and I completed that so I went back to pearl and it would only allow me to refit and Not end the patrol I can't figure out what else I have to do? Any ideas?

you should try to stay out long enough to expend all of your torpedo's. Look for ships until your bone dry. Also, frequent position messages back to command will merit a new mission.

Ive tried all that I even sunk two ships with my deck gun after running out of torpedos. Plus I always report in when I am on the surface. I wonder if I have to report a convoy or something. I have refitted at Pearl and I will go out again to sink more ships. Maybe I need more tonnage although the order is marked complete. Go figure.
