Confusion over base

Its 12 August 1944, and i have just completed a successful campaign in the black sea *GWX*, however those blasted commies have yet marched though the steppe (i blame it on the army for allowing that to happen lol), and are threatening Romania with invasion, deeming it no longer safe to patrol in the black sea, so i have been transferred to the 7th Flotilla.

However, in the base room, where you have all the desk, file cabinet etc, i click on the map on the wall to see what my new patrol is, it states that my starting base is Flensburg (Baltic sea), whilst patrolling grid OST, which doesn’t make sense because that’s in the black sea !,

Still none the less i click to start the mission and a little window comes up saying "Base changed to Breast" with ok at the bottom, so rather getting confused now, i click ok and the loading screen comes up, still saying my start and return base is Flensburg, although my starting position is 0 degrees Lat' and Long', so when i finally start my mission i end up off the west coast of Africa, still ordered to patrol grid OST !

does anyone now how to sort this problem ?

Do you have any other mods installed ?
Do you use SH3 commander ?

no other mods, only the original SH3 and GWX - patched up to the latest versions.

You can edit your patrol grid using SH3 Commander....however it sounds like you have a mod conflicting with some other mod already installed, or perhaps a rogue saved patrol file that's residue from a previous install :arrgh!:

Hmm I've ended up off the Gulf of Guinie before, although I made it home and I made it back to brest (I was in an IX so no problem in fuel). The next mission I was back at brest and no error messages.

Thats a fallacy. If you ask most women where breast is they start blowing whistles and you get into trouble with the law. Happened to me once. Very embarrasing. She didn't take it well at all

This alone is conclusive evidence that you have a file conflict. This occurs when the base coords in Flotilla.cfg are different to the base coords in the LND file.

As mentioned before, perhaps you've loaded a save file from a previous version of GWX? Perhaps you didn't remove all files completely after a previous SH3 uninstall? Perhaps you "forgot" about that incompatable mod you installed?

Hmm, I´m just moving from Konstanza to Flensburg, the 33´rd flot.
Lets hope reading this doesn't jinx my transfer;)
