View Full Version : Farwell and adieu dear members of Subsim...
… I probably should have chosen an other headline for this topic. This is a “Goodbye Subsim” topic, but not the traditional one, where I will say goodbye for ever and then creturn back after a couple of weeks. I am saying goodbye, but I am also saying that I will be back! I am not leaving for ever, but unfortunately my participation in Subsim will decrease.
I already have an other member running my duties in the Polish forum here at Subsim, and he’s doing a great job by the way. It feels really bad that I will not be able to participate more in this great community, I think that Neal’s webpage has expanded to a great gathering place for a great bunch of people.
Now, to the reason why I am leaving. About two months, just before I traveled back home to Poland, I felt that I was missing something in my life. I had a well paid job, I had a group of great friends here in Sweden, but I was missing my family, and most of all Poland. So when I got back to Poland I signed a contract with the Armed Forces as an officer at the Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare Brigades.
I’ve just received my orders, and I am supposed to report in at the Tadeusz Kosciuszko Land Forces Military Academy (http://www.wso.wroc.pl/wso_english/WSOWL_a.htm) in two weeks. I am going away on vacation again in five days, so I thought that this would be the best time to say goodbye.

Needless to tell you that you have some most beautiful and romantic landscapes in parts of Poland, so make sure you have some time free to spend it there! By views I could imagine to even live there, when ignoring all other factors.
Good luck! And beware those politicians! Different to mines, they do not have a "friendly side".
Polak, you are an all round great guy.
And good luck, your never know you may make General one day. ;) :D
Keep your head low and don't volunteer for anything!
Best of luck to you.

Best wishes M8. It's a sad day though, when a good guy goes.
I would like to thank everyone for their very kind words. There’s so much that I would like to write, and reply to everyone of your farewells. Unfortunately the time is working against me. My flight back home to Poland and to my vacation leaves in a couple of hours, so I have to go! I’ll get back with an update as soon as possible!:)
