screen blanker go away

Just loaded ShII and since i am years behind the curve, i wondered how i could get rid of the screen blanker...also had a problem with shII and had to delete and then re-load....now i cannot use the f12...or view external ship....the area is also greyed out on the control consolde....everything else works fine ...have installed the 1.1 patch and am using winXp....thanks:hmm:

Maybe one of the mods can add SHII to your Thread Title, may get a few more views for you. I have not played the game in awhile, so I am not sure what the problem may be.

Hopefully you get it worked out.

By the way, SH3 and SH4 are miles ahead of SHII( Stock ), so you got that to look forward to :yep:

The 1.03 patch does not seem to correct the missing views i have in Win Xp (F12) boat/ships view.......

Hi Sailfido,

I just read the notes for that patch (I'm encountering something similar in Single-Player mode), and I think the notes mention a removal of the external ship / torpedo modes depending on realism settings... (but I'm old and senile, so might have misread it).
