AA not firing

I've currantly taking part in operation 60,000, 5 kms from the port of Contanza, whilst on convoy escort with 3 merchant ships, when i detect radar signals.

A Window comes up staying enemy aircraft has been spotted, with all the various actions below (dive etc), i select the attack option (theres no need to dive in this case due to the added firepowers from my fellow merchants and escorts), now usally the crew would instantly be transported to the flak guns, which they dont, so i have to put them there, after which they should fire on the target, given my orders, however they refuse to do so...dispite the target being clearly visable! !

Can anyone help me on this?

Start on the bridge and cycle through the flak guns and end up on the bridge
Or take control of the guns and loose off a couple of rounds
That usually cures the problem

I have tried that, but the thing is...once ive been on one flak, and then move to the next, the flak that i was last on is firing, not the one before (i have a VIIC with the VIIC/4 conning tower you see) so i can only have 2 out of the 3 guns firing including myself manning one, so essentially only 2/3 firepower..not a good idea when you have russian DU-2s around ! lol! :(

are the men ordered to fire?? else try the WO and tell him to let the AA fire at will

Thats what I had to do,tell the WO to get them to fire at will,then select a range,and then get him to tell them to fire at will again,may take a few goes,but they will start hopefully,had this problem myself,went 3 whole careers without shooting at 1 single plane unless I did it myself:nope: then all of a sudden,BANG,they were off and now they shoot at anything remotely comming near:up: and with all that flak power you should be able to tackle most things,except 4 mosquito's:nope: don't ask,it only looked like 2 on the radar:damn:

hey thanks, i think that might work, haha now i should be able to take on those DU-2s :D , i have to say so far i aint found those planes too bad, i mean there slow, and often stall when climbing!, but still as long as theres no more than 3 :up:

As for those mosquito's - i think i changed my theater of war at the right time ! lol

I get the same. I have tomanually put them there, then order WO to fire at will even if its allready on. The I move from gun to gun. But however by now we're taking damage.

3 X Quads...all at once. Would love to see that. Only ever get 2/3 blatting. So hard to aim with the Quads too much gun shield.

However the single 20mm...lol bit crap.

Whats the point in the single shot AA gun. The rounds exploded as flak miles from the aircraft lol, and I onlyuse it on shipping now.
