I have started a new career in Asiatic Fleet. This time with 65 realism and manual targeting. Lets see how watching those training videos over and over age paid off. This is my first career with manual targeting, limited batteries, limited CO2, etc etc. I have practiced with the Sub School lesson but I wish they had several other ships to practice with. I am still trying to get the guts to go full realism with SHIII, still trying to understand German technology meaning their targeting systems. Wish Me luck!:arrgh!:

On a side note I have to give props to the individual who did the CBS Radio mod. Love it, helps get into the feel of how people in those days got their infomation and more feel for the era.

My attempt to go with limited batteries proved futile. Running on the surface during the daylight turned out to be not such a good idea. They took out my electric engines and other essential equipment. To top it off, my gunner destroyed bomber and then I ran into a military convoy. Tried to escape but pushing 12 knots did not help. Needless to say they used me as target practice. :dead:

Don't give up ... keep trying.

I'm about to end a career on 85 percent with mostly a vanilla setup.

As soon as this one is over, I'm going for the latest in TM and try my hand.
