1. Raising the minimum wage. Result: Employers lay off the least productive workers...the very group the increase is supposed to help. Also, it puts pressure on inflation.
2. Expanded health care. Result: No real plan in place. If passed, your taxes will increase to pay for it. The Wisconsin Plan suggests over $500 per month in higher payroll taxes. Also expect decreased quality and longer waits like the experience in Canada. Hillary has already promised a tax increase.
3. End the war. Result: They haven't done a damn thing, other than help our enemies.
4. Immigration. Result: They don't even want to talk about this one.

You are kidding right. You are against lower-income children having health care?
You are for tax breaks for the rich, but against the poor having a pay raise since a decade. Surely a dollar isn't the same as ten years ago?
3. End the war. Result: They haven't done a damn thing, other than help our enemies.
What have we accomplished in Iraq so far after five years?

I'm not at all against lower-income people (children included) having health care, and it is available for them. Priorities of those low-income families are the subject, not availability.
Tax cuts aren't just for the rich. That is the big lie. The middle class bears the greatest tax burden and the class which receive the greatest cuts. The 'poor' don't pay income tax. Perhaps a national sales tax iso income tax would be more fair.
National democratic elections is certainly progress, especially after a dictatorship going back to 1979.

Over the ten-year period, the richest Americans—the best-off one percent—are slated to receive tax cuts totaling almost half a trillion dollars. The $477 billion in tax breaks the Bush administration has targeted to this elite group will average $342,000 each over the decade.
By 2010, when (and if) the Bush tax reductions are fully in place, an astonishing 52 percent of the total tax cuts will go to the richest one percent—whose average 2010 income will be $1.5 million. Their tax-cut windfall in that year alone will average $85,000 each. Put another way, of the estimated $234 billion in tax cuts scheduled for the year 2010, $121 billion will go just 1.4 million taxpayers.

If you did away with all income taxes, the richest would get the biggest break. That's mainly because they pay the most in the first place. The modern income tax was created in 1913 primarily to make the rich "pay their fair share".

Read table three. Or to put it simply:
Middle 20% - 8.9%
Top 1% - 24.2%
Over 1 million - 15.3%
A little disparity huh?
Over the next 10 years, total tax-cut costs will equal $3.9 trillion, reaching nearly $600 billion or 3.3 percent of the economy in 2014 alone.
Yeah, really helping America!

Well i've always been a proponent of a flat tax rate so I'd prefer it to be a flat tax cut rate as well. I am however still in favor of tax cuts and 8.9% is better than nothing, or worse a tax increase.

Even so, wait 1 year after we leave and see what we will accomplish - No one likes to talk about all the dead iraqies if we leave, but mass muder and mass deaths will be the result. That is why we are still there - hoping they can eventually get a grip and an arm around their own country.
If we leave now, we will be responsible for one of the greatest mass murders in the aftermath in history.
Amazing how no one looks at that side when they talk of pulling out. It is our duty to help them for 10 years even if it takes them that long to be able to control the situation themselves.

Well, at least the Republicans are on our side. We know they don't help our enemies through preopaganda, false assertions, and defeatism. Republicans can be the solution when they stop acting like Democrats on spending and border security. And when they finally get tough and not allow the demoralizing anti-American propaganda in the media any leeway and just do what needs to be done. It's hard to fight a war effectively when your left-wing Antiwar media are crying "genocide" "ethnic cleansing" "and "baby-killers" at every turn. Republicans are weak fools. But at least their for the home team. Our Senate and House Democrats are nothing but outright traitors. They need to go. Especially since they're doing nothing but wasting time and money on meaningless investigations that lead nowhere.
The Democrat Congress is a failure. They need to go. We need change.

You can't call for withdrawal without thinking of the repercussions.
They have been at each others throats for 1400 years. What I find amazing is that we expect them to act like they were us if given the opportunity. They aren't us. They aren't loyal to their country and never will be. They are loyal to their tribe, religion and getting as many American dollars as possible in their pocket. Those that just want peace are seen as nothing but bomb fodder. The only thing they were owed by us is the opportunity to succeed. They've been given that opportunity. To do more we have to restart the draft and properly occupy the country. Put whats needed in there and stop just flushing lives and money down the crapper. Doing something half-assed doesn't bring success no matter how hard we wish and to me it is sheer stupidity and criminal to just feed the crapper.

Thats the best thing I've ever seen you say. Its very true. As the occupying force you are responsible to the people of that country since you tore apart the existing regime and essentially created instability. The thing though is that it isnt really up to the American people to decide when to leave. Thats for the Iraqis to decide. They want America to stay, America should stay. They want America out, America should get out. Its their country now, they call the shots. But thats of course to a reasonable extent. If its been 15 years and nothing has changed... yes I think America could leave having tried hard.

Democrat Congress cheats on vote. Their (Democrats) position destructive to the U.S. taxpaying base.
transcript says:
Sylvester: The explosion happened as the House was debating whether to prohibit illegal aliens from receiving welfare benefits. Deciding Democrat Michael McNulty ruled that the vote failed.
Even though when the gavel came down, the official tally showed otherwise: 215 in favor, 213 against. Democrats then accepted additional vote switches, changing the final tally to 216 against, 212 in favor. Republicans walked off the floor.
Rep. Mike Pence: Republicans won the vote to deny illegal immigrants welfare benefits, and the imperial Democrat majority changed the vote.
Rep. Brian Bilbray: There are people in this town that are willing to break the rules and do extraordinary maneuvers just so that illegal aliens can get benefits.

Your failed Congress is working to represent a foreign people to your family's detriment. What the Democrats want would enslave your grandchildren to paying for foreign welfare benefits forever.

Doesn't change the facts that this Congress is a horrific failure. And we need change desperately because they have failed so miserably. They have totally let down the American people. They are definitely corrupt and have broken the faith and trust of the American people. Good thing that most people see this. This is the lowest rated Congress I've ever seen. You miss the point totally. Right over your head. This is the mindset of these people. This is not an isolated event, nor are anti-military sentiments only displayed at this Kos event. It's also displayed when our illustrious Democrat Majority leader (Harry Reid) declares the war lost, even though we have boots on the ground. Anti-military, mean-spirited, and totally demoralizing. And how about Democrat Senator Dick Durbin comparing our soldiers to Nazi troops? Anti-military, mean-spirited, and demoralizing. But it's OK. That's all off topic anyway. And I think with the low approval ratings this failed Congress is generating, they're on their way out anyway.

Sea Demon is correct about a certain disregard by liberals for those that protect their rights and freedoms. Just because you see the world clearly doesn't mean one is stupid or misinformed.
Sometimes you have to fight for those who are not willing to fight for anything. Does anyone think that open debate for healthcare, immigration or taxes is occuring in Iran, Saudi Arabia, the African continent, Russia, or any number of other nations?
All this may be true but I believe it is true military regulations prohibit demonstrating or protesting while in uniform.
Turn it around. If a soldier were to attend an anti-war rally wearing his uniform would that be ok too?

The "Blue Collar" worker is getting a butt load outta this.
First, most "Blue Collar" workers are drunkards and dope smokers...So it stands to reason that they want 'Free Heath Care'
Second, most "Blue Collar" workers claim as many dependents[most illegally]as they can get away with... I have seen upwards of 15 dependents being claimed by a worker who has no family to speak of but ... this is where the but should be big ... BUT... he knows the IRS have bigger fish to fry than him so no worries there
Third, most "Blue Collar" workers don't give a damn about the government as long as they can have a case of beer every night and some grub maybe a bag of pot a week and sex with something once inna while.... I have actually had them tell me they hope we go to a 'Communist/Socialist Government' so all their worries will be over and they will not have to work anymore ....
Here is where the thorn sticks in the side... Most of these ''Blue Collar" workers believe they should be as rich as the people they work for. They believe they should have all the comforts that a man making 100thousand or more a year has and not work for it.
I have fired more white and black "Blue Collar" workers because they believe they should be payed more and do less than my Mexican workers.
So that kinda tells ya where I stand on the 'closing the borders thing'
