Hey guys, im new to SH3 and I'm having a problem

when I fire torps (impact, 4m, slow) at some ships, somtimes they almost hit the target, and then just sink, whats going on?

How far are you from the ships that you're trying to hit? If you're too far, the torp will run out of steam and merely drop off. If you're too close, the torp doesn't have a chance to arm itself, bounces off the ship and drops off. Keep your distance from your target between 350 and 1,200 meters.

The torpedo needs to hit the ship at roughly 90 degrees to their hull. If the impact is too extreme it will bounce off.
