Hi all, I just have a few question about a bunch of stuff so bear with me.

1) Can anyone recomend a good video card. I currently am running SH4 on my laptop because my PC does not have the recommended card. It Nivida 5200 and of course it is not supported:cry: . My laptop has nivida 7400 and it runs but seems to be a little sluggish at times and crashes(too much for my liking). PC info HP Pavillion 2g, 150 g hard drive.

2)Can anyone recomend books or other reading material on WWII Sub tactics, training and warfare.

3)Having trouble using radio freq for some mod that slit Washington into several other freq like Hawai, Iwo jima, etc. I had an NBC mod on the starting freq of 22 so I had to change them to like 42,52, etc. Possibly why its not work maybe.

4) This question is about SH3. Does anyone get a Virtual Memory indicator when running. I run this on my PC.

Thanks!

Get the fastest card you can afford. This game is hungry for every resource it can find. What kind of slot do you have for the videocard?

I do not know of any book that is strickly tactics for submarines. This forum is loaded with tactics so look around and you will be surpised at what you find.

I do not use the radio mod so can not help you here on this. I would iron out your videocard issue first then attack the mods.

Do you mean your virtual memory is low when playing SH3?

AVGWarhawk has said it all, but may I reinforce - it sounds as though you need to get your video card issues sorted out first. I run SH IV on two machines: a desk top with twin NVidia GeForce 512 Mb 7950 GT cards in SLI format and a Dell laptop with a single NVidia Geforce 7950 GT. I have very few issues with either set up.

As far as tactics are concerned, please search the forums. There is a huge amount of knowledge and experience here, but also, don't be afraid to ask for help and advice on specific questions. You're part of the best and most freely interactive forum there is.

Thanks, for question 4
Yes I get a msg on tool bar stating that your Virtual memory is low, windows is increasing it. Just check system info and it tells me that I have 2gb of virtual memory with 1.96 available

For PV Video card it is AGP it is a couple of years old HP Pavillion A262n version. My lapton is Dell m1210, I know I should of went for a better Video card when I bought the dell.
