Il2-1946 No Cd ?

Thought I'd take a breakfrom sub simming and do a little flying. I thought I had put the cd in but when I went to get the key map card both cd's were in the case and the game loaded.

I could have sworn that when I first got the game I had to use cd to get it to load.

The only thing new today I finally got around to running patch 4.08.

Could this patch be like SH4 1.03 makeing it a no CD game ?

Clicked game icon and game loaded without cd.

I guess I answered my own question.

What the hell? Mine doesn't have a no cd patch.... I really wish it did though. Why does yours have it and mine doesn't?

4.08 included a no-cd patch.

I like it when devs do that, saves me time.;)

4.08m included a no CD patch?
Not my copy, i downloaded and patched up to 4.08m after buying Il-46 but it still asks for the DVD.

what IL2 1946 version do you have?

the CD version (which is a an Update for the Merged FB-AEP-PF)
or the DVD version (the one way ticket to have them all 1 in once)

4.08 here and don't need the CD, I dunno if hes patched up and my dad don't need the CD either.

After reading all your posts I tried it again a few minutes ago and it plays with no disc.

My game case say's "IL2 STURMOVIC 1946 5 GAMES IN ONE"

And at the top of case it say's "ALL-NEW CONTENT"
plus the entire IL2 COLLECTION "

On the spine it says "The Signature Collection: Multi Disc."

I have the dvd version updated to the 408 patch no need for disc ...the no cd crack was included with the 408 patch
