Is the US trying to earn India's favor

India's been shoppin the field partnering with Russia for state of the art missile and fighter technology, submarine technology. Looks like the US is trying to make a power play to garner their favor and buy a new/needed partnership in Asia

Considering the amount of corporate outsourcing and foreign investment from the U.S. to India, it is probably a good idea.
