And, yeah! You spend too much time in ports. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Get out into the open sea. Fresh air, no disturbing harbour traffic.

Lol I found mine about a week ago, thought it was a merchant because it popped up on map... I thought it would be a nice little bit of tonnage to add to the log but I up'd scope to find an iceburg floating there lol.

Are there any other hidden surprises in the game (talking GWX 1.03 here)? The only ships I havent encountered are the Junks and that american BB (forgot the name). Anybody know more features to search for?

You're kidding on that no?, you're facing a 1000000 tons of ice there...

As a second thought, your problem is that you used the wrong weapon, you should have sent Bernard with the icepicker from the galley, at least it'll keep him busy for a while...

Hmmm...I never bothered looking around for an iceberg.

I did go around Reikjavik a few times but never hit anything so I guess I was in the wrong place.

I do believe I also went after a russian convoy once in winter but with no success.

Anyways...In general, I don't check on my watchcrew often so I never seen anything else than rain, storm, GWX nights, bright and sunny skies, 20 meters waves and completly calm seas.

To all U-Boats at sea

It has come to my attention that a number of kaleuns are neglecting their wartime duties in the feckless and childish pursuit of icebergs. Our resources in this time of struggle are not limitless and must not be wasted in such a manner. The obsession with ice can be accomodated by a transfer to the Eastern Front if so desired. I believe there is an abundance of different types to be found

the hawker tempest can be armed with 8× 3 in (75 mm) RP-3 rockets

Rheinmetall-Borsig RZ 65 (High Explosive Rocket)http://www.tarrif.net/wwii/img/guides/a2g_1.jpg

The RZ-65 rocket was carried under German aircraft from the autumn of 1942 onwards. The rockets were loaded in short tubes that could be carried in any variety of configurations, from a single row of four to a double row of twelve. The RZ-65 suffered from poor accuracy and didn't pack enough punch - barely more than the standard 20mm used at the time. The RZ-65 was modified to carry armor piercing ammunition and was used by the Fw.190A-3/U2 against light Russian armor, which it proved successful. It was never used in large numbers, but was useful as a prototype for future developments.
