Started a new career in 1939 as it would be a lot easier sinking tonnage than say 1942. Problem is that on mny first career most of the lone ships I've come up have been neutral:damn: Talk about unfair - 3 large cargo and 1 modern tanker, thats at least 20,000+ and I cant sink em!
(To those who will porbably say - Sink em!, Im following the rules of neutrality. Call it boring but I find it makes the satisfaction of a enemy kill more satisfying)

Guten Tag, papa smurf,
If the fishing's no good in the grid BdU gave you, head for Scotland. No target shortage there!

Yep, that is the exact problems the uboat skippers faced. Imagine trying to identify friend from foe, at night, in the fog.
Plus the Rules of Engagment were fairly convoluted about who could and couldn't be targeted, and the manner in which they needed to be engaged.
